New Garlic Information

 Garlic prices have been falling for almost a month now and tend to be stable recently also expected to change again in mid-May.

The garlic market turmoil has indeed been affected by the US tariffs before, but not to a large extent. On the one hand, China's supply chain is stable, with a high concentration of customers and suppliers, so even with high tariffs, we continue to receive orders steadily. On the other hand, China's supply chain is more resilient, and even though it suffered the impact of U.S. tariffs for a short period of time, it was able to return to normal operations very quickly. And now, we have resumed normal shipments to the US.

As a fully competitive market, garlic prices have been fluctuating with supply and demand. Compared to last year, garlic prices were expected to be lower this year because of a bumper garlic harvest. However, market movements in the last two years have shown that the garlic market is more influenced by other non-market factors such as capital. Therefore, it is impossible to be completely sure how the garlic market will move. Perhaps purchasing in small quantities at the recent low prices is a good way to cope.
